Maya Angelou is such an inspiration!!! I love reading her thoughts on Facebook. This one really made me think, something I want my daughter to know and understand.
Dignity—the word itself—has come to mean different things to different people, as many words do. It doesn't just mean always being stiff and composed. It means a belief in oneself, that one is worthy of the best. Dignity means that what I have to say is important, and I will say it when it's important for me to say it. Dignity really means that I deserve the best treatment I can receive. And that I have the responsibility to give the best treatment I can to other people.
Thanks for stopping by to check out some of my creations. Please let me know where you are from by signing my guestbook at the VERY bottom of this page. So simple to do! It is fun to see where visitors are from. Thanks.
I am a 50-ish substitute teacher and part time stay at home mom (aka domestic engineer or MOM in CHIEF) with 2 teen age angels! Originally from upstate New York, now a transplanted Virginian. I love creating personalized gifts!! You can see some of my creations here. Enjoy!!
When creating my crafts I'm not loyal to any one company. Most of my papers and other embellishments are from Michaels or AC Moore. I don't list specific recipes on what to use to create the projects, only steps to make it. Just wanted to pass along the information. THANKS for looking.
I love crafting! In my craft room (which is the smallest bedroom in the house), I can relax and try to forget all the problems of the day. Kids are usually sleeping, hubby is either in his office or also in bed. Sleep is overrated anyway! I love creating special personalized gifts for others!!! The look on someone's face when they open a personalized gift with a loved one's face on it is priceless!
